  7. IWATOOLS is a multiprocess/multiwindow environment.  It may be used to create
  8. windows on the screen and run any process in that window.  This software is
  9. very
  10. powerful on 80386/486 computer environments that can support large numbers of
  11. dumb terminals
  12.  
  13. Works on consoles and ASCII terminals without graphics hardware.
  14. IWATOOLS uses TERMCAP or a TIC equivalent.  Supports pop-up menus that are
  15. configurable to users.  Submenus are supported.  Supports color terminals.
  16. Borders around frames are joined.  Windows can be closed to icons to
  17. take up less space on the screen.  Number of windows is limited by the
  18. number of pseudo TTY's.  All of the IWATOOLS functions (e.g., refresh,
  19. expose, hide, move, open, close its window) can be tied to terminal function
  20. keys for ease of use.
